An extreme weather event traps 10 strangers in a New York City hotel lobby on Christmas Eve.  As the evening unfolds, they discover that they each have their own personal crosses to bear.  In a way they could never have imagined, their lives are about to change in the most profound way as each one is brought to the realization of the true meaning of Christmas.
